Perfect

A friend of mine once told me that “the synonym of perfect is boring”.

Well, I could never agree more with her statement because to me ‘perfect’ never exist. The theory is easy, “no one is perfect”, well except for one that we Muslims know, our Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), same goes to other religions as well.

Often we heard the saying goes; “To err is human”.

Yep, I couldn’t argue more because to me as we ourselves are named as human, we are so synonym with mistakes. Well, not to say that human can make mistakes but it is undeniable that human tend to make mistakes no matter how perfect we wanted things to be.

There is one fact that I always bear in mind which is ‘individual differences’ that make everyone with his very own intelligence. Each individual has his own strengths so as weaknesses, so isn’t that make “no one is perfect”?

Sometimes, we people are too busy looking forward perfection until we actually have overlooked the strengths when the fact that everyone has his very own strengths. Thus, look beyond the imperfection because that’s the only way to find the beauty of it.

But how about people who often see others so perfectly without noticing the flaws of others? Are these people really the nice people?

Well, sometimes it’s good to see the goods in people which could also be a positive thing. But sometimes, you should at least expect the worse so that when things go wrong, you wouldn’t be too disappointed accepting the fact.

So if “no one is perfect”, how can we look beyond the imperfection to discover the beauty underneath it?

I’d love to quote from the book “The Rules of Love” by Richard Templar (It’s an interesting book though);

“The best teams contain people with different strengths.Accept the differences, embrace what you have in common.”

But I guess, you know your taste better.

So, suits yourself then.

xoxo
